My Approach
My main goal is to create a safe space for you where you can share personal issues at your own pace.

While we usually reach out to a therapist to create some change, humans do not really like change. Change is hard and painful and for that reason therapy will not always make you feel better after each session.

When we fully engage in the therapeutic process painful feelings will emerge and sometimes we will need to sit in them for a while before finding emotional relief.

My approach with children is naturally quite different from adults as kids have fewer defenses built and will not as strongly relate to the therapist with their rational left brain, but connect easier with their emotional brain as they engage in creative activities.

I believe that our psyche tends to want to heal itself when given the space and right environment. I observe this more so in children because they are not yet quite as reasonable and rational as us adults.
